Creation of a music pre-selection jury
The Festival des Aspériales of Sommières will be responsible for selecting a jury for both the pre-selection and the final selection. It will be made up of Festival representatives and music professionals (musicians, journalists, theater directors, etc.) specializing in each style in all its components. Both its composition and judgments are final. Bands will be judged on their interpretation, originality, quality of compositions, arrangements and improvisations…
And the winner will get …
The winner will be offered a slot in the Sommières 2025 edition of the Aspériales, as an opening act for one of the main concerts.
Remuneration will be based on €190 gross per musician. The Festival will provide accommodation (for groups coming from a town more than 200 km from Sommières), meals, the band’s backline on the evening of the concert, and a contribution to transport costs.
To do this, the group must fill in the following PDF document and send it before the deadline. Any mail or email received after the registration closing date will not be taken into account.
Documents (CDs, files) will not be returned or used without prior authorization from the group. Incomplete and/or late applications will not be accepted. A pre-selection and a final selection based on listening to the CDs will be made in March 2025. The winner will be notified by e-mail by the end of March 2025 at the latest.
The file must be sent by post or e-mail and must include :
- The registration form in paper or PDF format.
- A minimum of 5 titles in (your choice of) :
a. Audio CD ;
b. Link to listen to the tracks on an audio distribution platform
(Spotify, Soundcloud, etc..).
It must reach us by February 20, 2025.
