Welcome to the Festival des Aspériales
Between Nimes and Montpellier, discover the International Music Festival in the heart of the village of Aspères.
Developed with the Festival team with conviction and passion, but also with a concern for balance and harmony, it is with great pleasure that we raise the curtain on the programming of the 1st Festival international de musique des Aspériales de Sommières.
We would like to express our gratitude to all those – public and private partners – who are supporting this major project, and will continue to do so.
The 2025 edition is the result. First and foremost, it’s eight concerts, eight unique events spread over several days, with a festive dimension and a desire to share for all audiences.
A different directory
In this way, the great classical repertoire – from the brilliance of concertos and symphonies to the intimacy of chamber music – will be punctuated by magnificent and rare works to be discovered. The festival will be an ideal opportunity to bring together classical music and jazz, as well as other rarer sounds that are hard to find in concerts.
Today’s and tomorrow’s big names
The formidable musicians gathered at the festival belong to different generations. They all have the same ambition: to share music. They will reveal its strongest and most universal qualities through a variety of programs.

The influence of the Aspères-Sommières International Music Festival is particularly close to our hearts Other original events involving the music festival have been devised in conjunction with various local players. We created them with mutual enthusiasm. Not only because we have a personal, family and friendly attachment to the town of Sommières, but also because we believe that culture, and music in particular, contribute to the happiness of a community.
A fabulous program to discover
This first summer day on June 20 reflects this. This is punctuated by a school concert in association with the Sommières music school, followed by a pre-festival recital given as part of the “Jeudis de Salinelles” program by the brilliant young pianist Derek …

Our artistic production association has been in existence since 1999, and has always offered a majority of free admission events run by a volunteer team..
Today, public subsidies are unfortunately no longer sufficient to run your new festival, whose costs, as you can imagine, are constantly rising.
So we’re asking for your support, and we’ll do everything we can to ensure that together, this festival, with its musically different formula, continues to thrive.
