Born on the banks of the Vidourle River, the Asperiales of Sommières has developed over time, from chapels to abbeys, from wine estates to medieval castles, always following the course on the water’s edge.

Always keen to bring the local heritage to life, we’re committed to bringing the Aspériales festival to the surrounding communes, playing host to churches, temples, arenas, theaters and abbeys in the villages along the Vidourle and its tributaries.

It’s a welcome recognition for the small villages of the Syndicat Intercommunal du Vidourle, which has grown steadily over the years and continued with the addition of new exceptional sites.

Concert for school children

Taking advantage of the approaching end of the school term to introduce young people to the art of music remains a challenge for many musicians. In order to pass on knowledge and passion, what could be more natural than to give youngsters the codes to attend a classical concert, to open their eyes to another universe, that of music, far from television and the Internet.
